Pearl City Schools offers a small school environment (total enrollment of 521) while still providing numerous educational opportunities for our students. They include but are not limited to:

  11. Duel Credit Offerings – College/High School Credit at the same time through Highland Community College

  12. High school curricular programs – including Spanish, Home Economics, Business, English, Science, Math, Social Studies, PE, and the fine arts ( Music, Band, Art)

  13. Support services including social work, psychologist, occupational therapist, physical therapist, and speech pathology

  14. Technology – including 3 full computer labs (2 permanent and 1 mobile), Smart Board Technology and Promethean Board Technology

  15. High school co-curricular/athletics – including Student Council, Wolfpack or Letterman’s Club, Upward Bound, A-Team, FFA, National Honor Society, FCCLA, Scholastic Bowl, Speech, Theatre, five boys and girls athletic programs, multiple clubs, Peer Mentoring, Servant Leaders, etc.

It is a financially sound district - Pearl City Schools has received “Financial Recognition” each of the last three years. This ranking is determined by the Illinois State Board of Education through evaluation of our annual financial documents. This is the highest ranking that can be achieved by the Illinois State Board of Education.
